F. Kacena
Jim Kacena is an Executive Consultant with High Potential Inc.
He has over twenty years experience in the outplacement industry and is
an internationally recognized Career Management Professional. He has delivered
Career Transition programs ranging from professional to executive level
to more than 4,000 individuals and has orchestrated numerous major projects.
Jim’s corporate experience began as an Operations Officer with Continental
Illinois National Bank, where he conducted efficiency/effectiveness studies
for the Bank’s large scale operating functions.
He also managed the operating
staff supporting the Real Estate, Trust and Commercial Lending functions.
Mr. Kacena has worked in a senior consulting capacity for High Potential
Inc since its inception in 2000. Jim has worked particularly effectively
with a wide range of senior managers, as well as attorney and law firm
clients, on career and leadership matters, as well as with several major
financial and health care institutions. In addition, Mr. Kacena has managed
delivery of a variety of career transition services via career centers,
to several Midwest manufacturing operations and has worked collaboratively
with local and state governments to assist in job development and placement
efforts.
Jim has his B.S. and M.S. from the University of Illinois. He
has also completed course work on his MBA from Northwestern University
Kellogg Graduate School of Business. He is on the Board of Directors and
U.S. President of the International Board of Career Management Certification
(among only thirteen professionals in the world to be awarded Charter
Fellow status). Jim is certified as a Senior Career Consultant for Executive
Coaching and Outplacement by IACMP. Jim and his wife, Joy, live in Naperville
Illinois, where he is active in community and church affairs.
